Hi, this is GENo07 from ITLover0. Before, we posted about reviewing the Logitech Combo Touch and comparing it with the Apple’s Magic Keyboard. Today is about Logitech Combo Touch Troubleshoot and fixing most of the problem occurred by the Logitech Combo Touch

Logitech Combo Touch Troubleshoot : Logitech Control app

First, you have to download an app called ‘Logitech Control’. It is an official Logitech support app. Most people who know well about electronics would have this downloaded but if you don’t have it downloaded, then do download. We need this app for this solution.

Then check the update for it and update if it says you have to.(If you downloaded it right now, then it would probably have an update.) If there is some sort of problem and you update the program, then the problem would be fixed. While updating, you should not do anything to the iPad. Don’t touch the screen. If you downloaded it before and it’s not your initial run, then press Q+W+E+CMD on the Combo Touch image. You press it on the Combo Touch image itself not on your own real Combo Touch. Then the Combo Touch firmware gets reinstalled which is a reset-like action. This is going to solve most of the problems unless it is a hardware problem.

That was how to solve most of the Logitech Combo Touch problems. I hope you find this post beneficial and I will see you next time! Bye!

How exactly do you press Q+W+E+CMD on the combo touch image? Especially when the combo touch key board is not working? A step by step would be really helpful.

    • According to GENo07, he meant press the keys on your screen, not on your keyboard. Try doing that, and see if it works.

Ok, so I was able to fix this using his info. So yes, you need to have the app open and touch the keys on the screen and not your actual keyboard. (You will see the info populate in the bottom right hand corner in grey writing if done correctly)

      Q+W+E + CMD = Unlocking debug notifications

Q+W+E + CTRL = Unlocking firmware update (keyboard)

      Q+W+E + Globe = Unlocking firmware update (keyboard+trackpad)

I found by updating the firmware (+CTRL keyboard) that it fixed my trackpad issue.

How long did you wait for it to tell you?

I cannot get the on screen keyboard on the app as the keyboard will not connect, it just appears with the message “connect your supported Logitech keyboard”. Any other way I can fix this or get the on screen keyboard to appear? Thanks

I have connected my keyboard and it shows only the part of the keyboard on the screen and says that my keyboard is updated. I have already update the software of my iPad, the keyboard does work well, but the app does not work properly. Thank you in advance!
